A quick and easy sweet to enjoy after dinner or a midnight snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole banana peeled and sliced diagonally

  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup sugar (enough to cover the bottom of pan)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1-2 oz rum, dark is best

Directions

  • In a completely dry pan, pour in sugar and shake to even it out, turn heat to medium and do not stir.
  • Once sugar starts to all turn brown in color, add butter and rum and still for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add banana, turning frequently to coat, just long enough to warm, about 2 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
