A quick and easy sweet to enjoy after dinner or a midnight snack.
1 whole banana peeled and sliced diagonally
1/3 – 1/2 cup sugar (enough to cover the bottom of pan)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1-2 oz rum, dark is best
- In a completely dry pan, pour in sugar and shake to even it out, turn heat to medium and do not stir.
- Once sugar starts to all turn brown in color, add butter and rum and still for 1-2 minutes.
- Add banana, turning frequently to coat, just long enough to warm, about 2 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
